Ingredients

For the Agua Fresca
  • 2 medium Cucumbers washed and cut
  • ½ cup Lime Juice fresh juice
  • 2 tablespoons Agave Syrup natural sweetener
  • 4 cups Cold Water

Equipment

  • blender
  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Pitcher

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by washing your medium cucumbers thoroughly to remove any dirt. If you prefer, partially peel them to reduce bitterness before cutting them into chunks. Aim for roughly 1-inch pieces for easy blending.
  2. In a blender, combine the chopped cucumbers with ½ cup of freshly squeezed lime juice, 2 tablespoons of agave syrup, and 4 cups of cold water. Blend the mixture on high for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until it's completely smooth.
  3. If you prefer a silkier texture, place a fine mesh strainer over a large bowl or pitcher. Pour the blended mixture through the strainer, using a spatula to press down and extract all the liquid.
  4. Once you have strained the mixture (if desired), pour the Cucumber Lime Agua Fresca into a pitcher. Serve immediately over ice and garnish with thin cucumber slices or fresh mint leaves.
