Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by washing the 4 large potatoes thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt. Once clean, pat them dry with a towel to prevent excess moisture from affecting their crispiness during cooking.
- Using a sharp knife, carefully slice each potato into ⅛th of an inch thick rounds, aiming for uniform thickness.
- Transfer the sliced potatoes into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the top, followed by 1 teaspoon of garlic granules, 1 teaspoon of dried mixed herbs, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Gently toss until all slices are evenly coated.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) as you're tossing the potato slices.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the potatoes from sticking. Spread the coated potato slices across the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-35 minutes, flipping the potato slices halfway through.
- Once baked to golden perfection, carefully remove from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
For the best results, choose starchy potatoes like Russets and ensure even slicing for consistent crispiness.
