Ingredients
  

For the Cheese Mixture
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2-3 Jalapeños finely diced
  • 2-3 Green onions chopped
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
For the Breading and Frying
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, blend together 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 2-3 finely diced jalapeños, and 2-3 chopped green onions until well incorporated.
  2. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, and salt, along with ½ teaspoon of black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Scoop out about 1.5 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a ball shape. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Cover the baking sheet tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate the cheese balls for at least 60 minutes.
  5. Set up a breading station with 1 cup of Panko breadcrumbs in a shallow dish.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  7. Carefully add a few cheese balls to the hot oil and fry for 3-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove fried cheese balls with a slotted spoon and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  9. Serve the Crispy Jalapeño Cheese Balls immediately, pairing them with a dipping sauce of your choice.
