- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface and transfer it to a deep-dish pan, pressing it gently into the corners. Prick the bottom with a fork and prebake for about 7–8 minutes until slightly firm.

- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage together until browned, approximately 8–10 minutes. Drain excess grease, season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

- Spread the ricotta cheese evenly across the bottom of the prebaked pie crust.

- Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the ricotta layer.

- Evenly spoon the cooked meat mixture over the mozzarella layer.

- Pour the pizza sauce or marinara over the meat layer and spread evenly.

- Layer on the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.

- Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese layer.

- Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.

- Remove the pie from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
