Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook 8 ounces of pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add 1 cup of fresh corn kernels to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until caramelized.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and stir continuously. Add ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese and thicken for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Combine the reserved pasta with the creamy sauce, ensuring each piece is coated. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Stir in ¼ cup of chopped basil and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
