Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the mandarins by gently peeling them and laying them on a clean kitchen towel to dry.
  2. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in a heatproof bowl, using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  3. Dip each mandarin segment into the chocolate mixture, allowing excess to drip back into the bowl.
  4. Set the dipped mandarins on parchment paper on a baking tray, leaving space in between.
  5. Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle with sea salt, nuts, or decorative sprinkles if desired.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes until the chocolate firms up.
