Step-by-Step Instructions for Bread Pudding
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut the brioche or challah bread into 1-inch cubes, toast if not stale.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  4. Place toasted bread cubes in the baking dish and pour custard mixture over them, pressing down gently.
