- Brown the beef by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and brown for about 7-10 minutes until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Sauté the chopped onion, bell peppers, and minced garlic in the same skillet for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Prepare the sauce by stirring in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, and black pepper. Simmer on low for about 10 minutes.
- Cook the egg noodles in salted water according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Layer half of the meat sauce, half of the cooked pasta, and half of the cheeses in a greased baking dish. Repeat the layers.
