Method

Instructions
  1. Gather all your ingredients for the Christmas Quiche. Measure out 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 cup of shredded cheese, and 1 cup of cooked vegetables, ensuring they are washed and chopped into bite-sized pieces if fresh.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's ready for baking the Christmas Quiche.
  3. If you're using raw vegetables, heat a splash of olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Sauté the veggies until they are softened and aromatic, usually about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, crack open the 6 large eggs and pour in the 1 cup of heavy cream. Whisk them together until smooth and creamy, seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Fold in the shredded cheese and cooled vegetables into the egg and cream mixture. If adding cooked bacon or ham, distribute it evenly.
  6. Carefully place your pre-baked pie crust into a pie dish. Gently pour the egg mixture into the crust, filling it just to the top.
  7. Slide your quiche into the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until the center is set and the top has turned lightly golden.
  8. Allow the quiche to cool slightly for about 10 minutes before slicing.
