- Gather all your ingredients for the Christmas Quiche. Measure out 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 cup of shredded cheese, and 1 cup of cooked vegetables, ensuring they are washed and chopped into bite-sized pieces if fresh.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's ready for baking the Christmas Quiche.
- If you're using raw vegetables, heat a splash of olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Sauté the veggies until they are softened and aromatic, usually about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, crack open the 6 large eggs and pour in the 1 cup of heavy cream. Whisk them together until smooth and creamy, seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
- Fold in the shredded cheese and cooled vegetables into the egg and cream mixture. If adding cooked bacon or ham, distribute it evenly.
- Carefully place your pre-baked pie crust into a pie dish. Gently pour the egg mixture into the crust, filling it just to the top.
- Slide your quiche into the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until the center is set and the top has turned lightly golden.
- Allow the quiche to cool slightly for about 10 minutes before slicing.
