  • 4 leaves Lettuce Iceberg or romaine
  • 1 cup Tomato slices
  • ½ cup Tartar sauce Or your favorite sauce
  • 4 wedges Lemon Optional

Preparation
  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients for the Battered Fish Burgers to ensure a smooth cooking experience.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and whisk in cold sparkling water.
  3. Place panko breadcrumbs in a shallow dish.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  5. Dip fish fillets in the batter and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry fillets in hot oil for 4-5 minutes until golden brown; drain excess oil.
  7. Toast burger buns in the residual pan oil until golden.
  8. Assemble burgers with lettuce, fried fillet, tomato, and tartar sauce, then top with the bun.
