  5. Layer half of the beef mixture in the greased baking dish, followed by half of the cheddar cheese.
  6. Repeat the layering with the remaining beef mixture and cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
  8. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
