  • 28 oz Crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz Diced tomatoes undrained
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 3 cups Beef broth or vegetable broth for meat-free version
  • 1.5 teaspoon Sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Elbow macaroni or any pasta preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce optional
  • Sugar optional, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the Beef: Heat olive oil, add beef chuck, sear until browned, then set aside.
  2. Sauté the Onions and Garlic: In the same pot, add onion and sauté until soft, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add the Bell Peppers and Tomato Paste: Add bell peppers, cook until slightly softened, then stir in tomato paste.
  4. Incorporate the Broth and Tomatoes: Pour in beef broth, crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
  5. Simmer the Goulash: Return beef to pot, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until beef is tender.
  6. Cook the Elbow Macaroni: Stir in elbow macaroni, cook uncovered until tender.
  7. Final Touches and Serve: Adjust seasonings, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
